Topic: The Greater Reward
Text: Colossians 3:23-24 (KJV)
3:23 and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 3:24 knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
Message:
Never for any reason set the appraisal or commendation of men as the motivation for any service at all.
In a way, this mindset or motive will limit you commitment or in another way, deny you of the Greater reward which should of course be your focus and nothing more.
For an effective service, you may need to walk with this slogan “Render service to God through Man” what this means is simple.
Serve to please God not a person.
if you are congratulated by men, fine; otherwise know that nothing can rob you of the greater reward if your service was from a genuine heart.
